Our History
Since 1946
Colortone was founded in 1946 and our goal was to provide audio visual equipment to local schools and businesses with state of the art communication equipment and services at affordable rates. The goal remains largely unchanged today. In 1969 Marvin Lederman brought Don Silver in as Executive Vice President recognizing Don's ability to stay on top of state of the art technology and Colortone's clients technological needs. In 1984, recognizing the need to expand the company's technical knowledge and capabilities, welcomed Jonathan Dunaief as Vice President of Business Development. Joseph Lemischak and Tom Arnold joined to expand our Sales Force. Steve Esposito has added his wealth of experience to the Design and Installation Department with remarkable solutions to the most challenging environments.
Growth & Stability
Colortone has been operating for over 60 years. We are, and have always been, privately held and funded. Thanks to our consistent growth, we are able to finance projects ranging in size from the smallest AV project, to Installation to an entire building's audio Visual requirements.
